Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Dental Science Advantages 2024The Faculty continuously conducts camps and field trips in remote areas to cover the population that has minimal access to Dental Health Care. Due to the presence of a full-fledged dental hospital within the university, students – both graduate and post-graduate, get access to a wide variety of patients. While the patients receive quality treatment at less price, the students get priceless practical experience to hone their skills. Lectures, preclinical/clinical demonstrations, field surveys, seminars, journal clubs, dental check-up & education camps are a regular phenomenon in the institute. Knowledgeable and scholarly teachers are hallmark of our institution. Academic training program run by highly qualified 60 faculties among them we have more than 30% faculties are having at least 15 years of academic experience. They are having full bag of experienced as well as fresher faculties.

The Faculty has fully functional basic Medical and Dental Science subject departments with full state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. The Clinical and Non-clinical subjects of Dentistry are equipped with multiple Dental Chair units enough to cater more than the stipulated input of Dental Students.
The Faculty has a library that is both well-stocked as well as regularly updated. This includes books, journal, magazine and online resources. We have separate reading facilities for staff and students. The library is open from 9 am to 4 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays.
