Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU) Advantages 2024A library is basically a collection of sources, resources, and services. Library and Information Centre here extensively utilize Information Technology so that best source and information can reach to the user. The library has been automated using Alice for Windows (EfW) - an international user-friendly library package. The software facilitates automated circulation (issue-return) of books and speedy access to bibliographic, location, and availability information of the books in the library. There are 5520 books, 44 journals, 141 CD’s all kinds of newspapers. Empirical experiences are prerequisites for scientific and engineering education. The University has created some sector-relevant engineering laboratories which are well equipped to facilitate the pedagogic and research process. Air-conditioned lecture halls of the university give a comfortable ambiance to the students to learn and develop more. All the Lecture Halls are equipped with Projectors and PC. They have comfortable seating with rotatable chairs. There are around 10 Lecture halls for the School of Liberal studies. This room is particularly built to keep the Culture alive in SLS. Students prepare and practice for their Dance, Music, Drama, etc competition and SLS cultural activities in this room. Theatre, Music and Dance class is also conducted here. It has a mirror on one wall and space to practice. Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) established the Office of International Relations (OIR) to develop global professionals by providing international educational exchange to university students and to create visibility of university in the global educational scenario by collaborating with other reputed institutions and student exchange programs. Various programs of the Office of International Relations were started to provide an international orientation of educational programs and to explore international cooperation in education and research in association with international universities and industry experts.

Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU) Placements 2024PDEU has an excellent track record of securing placement for its students. Students have been hired by top companies in India and many companies have been visiting PDEU every year for recruiting students. This year numerous students have received job offers from companies which are predominantly from their respective discipline. In fact, compared to previous years, PDEU is on track to record its highest-ever placement numbers this year. First campus placement in a Middle East country at B.Tech level has been offered to students of Chemical Engineering by Protiviti, a global consulting firm. The student was offered Rs 16.60 LPA and will be posted in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The highest offer of Rs. 19.20 LPA from ONGC has been offered to 11 B.Tech Petroleum Engineering students. 100% Placements - In Both the MBA Programmes for the Last 4 Years* Highest Salary offered - 18.4 Lakhs/Annum (in 2019) by GAIL.

The faculties of PDEU are highly experienced and qualified. Dr. Pramod Paliwal has over 25 years of corporate and academic experience. He has been engaged in teaching, research, consulting, publications, and research guidance. He is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), U.K. Dr. Paliwal has been featured in the 30th Pearl Anniversary Edition of Marquis' Who in World, 2013. He has traveled internationally on academic and professional assignments in Energy Sector. Given his interest and work on Energy issues, International Crowdsourcing group Wikistrat has invited him on board as Honorary Senior Analyst-Energy.
r. Tanushri Banerjee is Associate Professor at SPM, PDPU. She is also the Faculty Advisor, Business Analytics Teaching Lab at SPM, and Chair MDP Programmes. She has co-authored 2 books in Business Analytics by Sage Publications: 1. Weaving Analytics for Effective Decision Making 2017 2. Business Analytics: Text and Cases 2019. She has been awarded 'DISTINGUISHED WOMAN IN MANAGEMENT - (Major Area of Study - Decision Science) 2019 by Venus International Foundation. Dr Banerjee has done her BE (Electronic) from MSU Baroda, Masters in Management Informations Systems from UIC Chicago, and PhD in Management from MSU Baroda.
Dr Sudhir Yadav has more than 29 years of experience including about 7 years in the industry and 22 years in academics. He is an engineering graduate and postgraduate from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi. As an industry professional he has worked in the Marketing and International Business division of various companies. He has been teaching courses related to Operations Management at SPM. He also in past (at previous workplaces) taught courses related to International Business Management and Marketing Management. Dr Yadav has developed and delivered academic and training modules in the area of Oil and Gas Operations Management, Oil and Gas Project Management, and Oil and Gas Value Chain Management. His case studies and publications in Oil and Gas Management have been acclaimed by the learners. He has conducted in-company and executive management programs. He has visited the USA, Europe, South East Asia, the Middle East for academic and professional assignments. Dr Yadav has delivered Oil and Gas training programme in the Middle East.

The campus is located 14 km from the Ahmedabad Airport and 21 km from Ahmedabad's Kalupur Railway Station. It is 3 km off the main road connecting Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad Airport, Ahmedabad. The university is spread across a lush green pollution-free 100 acres campus with very good biodiversity. The campus is dotted with mango trees and the campus houses 18 different varieties of birds.
The university started with a single building and then over the years, expanded infrastructure to five large administrative blocks, an auditorium block, hostel blocks, a cafeteria block, sports grounds, and manicured gardens.
The entire area is walled with four access points, is CCTV monitored, and tobacco-free. On-campus facilities (apart from classrooms and offices) include SBI Branch, pharmacy, stationery store, resident daytime doctor, 24x7 doctor-on-call, ambulance, travel desk, and campus store. Gujarat National Law University is situated nearby.

Each Hostel of the University offers a variety of Social and Academic oriented activities that make it possible to learn more not only about you but also about those living in the hostel.
Our on-campus residential facilities offer furnished hostel rooms on a three-seat sharing basis subject to its availability. This is an optional facility offered to the students. Separate hostels are for female students. There are Wi-Fi-enabled hostel blocks that are well-designed to meet the general needs of the students. These include emergency medical facilities, a doctor on call, and a well-equipped and comfortable lounge to facilitate group activities.
