The Institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. Dr AIT Bangalore is affiliated to VTU Belagavi, Karnataka and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. AIT Bangalore offers 11 UG courses and 10 PG courses in the field of Engineering. In addition to this, Ambedkar College Bangalore also has 15 research centers.
