The Victoria Jubilee Dispensary Society, Ahmedabad,was established in 1865 by Rao Bahadur Ranchhodlal Chhotalal,(pioneer of the textile industry in gujarat). The dispensary was the very first Obstetrics and Gynec facility of the city. Later in late 1880s Victoria Jubilee Hospital started first NURSING SCHOOL in the premises of the Hospital where the nurses were trained.
