Mahavir Nursing Institute Admission 2024Nursing College at Vatrak is managed by Shri K K Shah Sabarkantha Arogya Mandal, Vatrak. The college has total build-up area of 24000+ SQFT comprising of ground + 2 floors. It is also attached to Shrimant Fatehsingh Rao Gaekwad General Hospital. The hospital has 150 beds with male and female wards and semi-special and special rooms. It has three full fledged Operation Theaters. It has all the departments like Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology and Dialysis center, Dental, CT scan and Physiotherapy. It has also blood bank and visiting doctors for ENT, Skin and psychological diseases. Mahavir School of Nursing was started on 1-Sep-2008 for G.N.M. program with the grand donation from Shri Chandrakant Gogari (Aarti Group of Industries), Mumbai. Initially the intake approval was 30 seats which are increased to 50 seats. The G.N.M. course is of 3 years and 6 months duration. Four batches of this course is already passed out. Students of this program are placed in good hospitals and with handsome salaries. Shri Chandrakant Gogari (Aarti Group of Industries), Mumbai has also donated for the girls hostel named as 'Yashoda Girls Hostel' which can accommodate about 200 girl students. Mahavir College of Nursing was started in 2010 for P.B. B.Sc. (Nursing) program which is of 2 years duration. The intake seats for this program is 30. This program is started in the same premises. Three batches are passed out of this and students are well placed in various hospitals. Mahavir School of ANM was started in 2012 for A.N.M. program which is of 2 years duration. The program is started in the same premises. Second batch of students are passed out and they got rich experience in the attached Shrimant Fatehsingh Rao Gaekwad General Hospital which is next door. Mahavir B.Sc. College of Nursing was started in 2014 for B.B.Sc. (Nursing) program which is of 4 years. The testimony of the college will be known by achievements of following students in their respective programs.
