Government Engineering College, Bharuch is one of eight New Government Engineering Colleges established in July-2004.
Government Engineering College, Bharuch established in July-2004 is one of the premier Institutes of south Gujarat and it is located near Dahej SEZ & Ankleshwar Industrial estate. It -provides state-of-the-art infrastructure by strengthening industry-institute- interaction to achieve excellence in engineering education.

GEC, Bharuch consistently remains in TOP 10 in GTU results. Few students of Institute secured more than 95 percentiles in GATE-2020 Exam. Pre-Placement initiatives for campus to corporate, GD-PI, Mock test, Foreign/Higher studies are organized regularly.
