Early 20th Century – The origin of Kuban State Medical University began as the Medical Faculty of the First Kuban University in Krasnodar.
1920 – The medical faculty was reorganized into the Kuban Medical Institute, marking the beginning of an independent medical education
institution in the Kuban region.Mid-20th Century – The institute expanded its educational structure and clinical training by collaborating with major medical institutions
across the Krasnodar region.Late 20th Century – The institution grew into one of the leading medical universities in Russia, gaining national recognition for medical
education and research.1990s – The institute developed a multilevel system of medical education, strengthening postgraduate training and professional
development programs for healthcare specialists.2000s – The university expanded its academic infrastructure and introduced advanced medical technologies, simulation training,
and digital learning tools.2010s – Kuban State Medical University strengthened its role as a scientific, educational, and innovation center, encouraging young
researchers and medical specialists to participate in advanced research projects.2018 – The university admitted international students for the first time in English-medium medical programs, expanding its global presence.
2019 – More than 1,200 clinical residents were enrolled in advanced medical training programs, strengthening postgraduate education.
2020 – During the global outbreak of COVID-19, the university rapidly transitioned to remote learning through its digital educational portal,
maintaining uninterrupted medical education.Present Day – Kuban State Medical University has become a major medical education and research center in southern Russia.
